With limited snorkel sites and tidal pools along the coast, and wave action often hampering the experience, we can take you out by boat to experience our coastline from another angle. Very often the waves pounding the shallows stir up sand and sediment, and affect the visibility close to shore. By approaching many snorkelling sites from the backline, visibility improves and snorkelers do not need to contend with shore entries.
It’s just a short boat ride out to the snorkelling points north of Umhlanga Rocks which lie at a depth of between 2 - 6m.
A deeper ride out, and you may have an unforgettable encounter with dolphins!
Masks, snorkels and fins provided. As are life jackets for the surf launch. Snorkelling jackets not provided. Bring sun cream, a hat, sunglasses and water on the boat - no glass please.
